Ordering Personalised Gifts

How do I order a personalised gift?

Ordering from Chalk It Down Gifts is simple:

1. Choose your product from the website

2. Enter the name, word, or custom details in the personalisation box

3. Select any name/colour or design options available

4. Add the item to your cart and complete checkout

5. Email the photo (if ordering Pet Prints) to hello@chalkitdown.com

Once your order is placed, we begin creating your custom handmade piece.

Can I request a completely custom design?

Yes. Many of our products can be fully customised.

For example, our micrography personalised prints can be created in:

• Any shape or silhouette

• Any colour palette

• Any word, name, quote, or message

If you have a specific idea for a personalised gift or custom artwork, simply contact us and we will do our best to create it.

Can I preview my personalised design before it is made?

For many custom designs we can provide a digital preview before printing or production, please request.

This ensures your name spelling, colours, and layout are correct before your order is completed.

What if I make a mistake with the personalisation?

If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible.

Because all items are made to order, changes may only be possible before production begins.

Approximately 10–15 working days

Because every item is handmade and personalised, production time is included in these estimates.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship to Ireland, the UK, the USA, and other international destinations.

Shipping times will vary depending on location.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

• Location

• Package size

• Delivery method

Personalised Nursery Decor

What materials are used in your nursery garlands?

Our personalised nursery garlands are made from:

• Untreated natural wood elements and beads

• 100% merino wool felt letters

• Natural twine

• Eco-friendly sealants free from toxins

They are designed as beautiful decorative pieces for nursery rooms and children's spaces.

How long are the personalised garlands?

The length of the garland depends on the number of letters in the name for Nursery garlands.

Most home decor garlands are approximately 1.5 metres long, but as above - this can vary slightly depending on the personalised name.

How many letters can be included in a name garland?

Our garlands can accommodate names or words up to 10 letters.

If you require a longer name, contact us and we may be able to create a custom solution.

Personalised Prints

What is a micrography personalised print?

A micrography print is a unique form of artwork created using hundreds or thousands of tiny words.

At Chalk It Down Gifts, we use this technique to create custom silhouettes and shapes made entirely from meaningful words or names.

These prints make unique personalised gifts for birthdays, sports fans, families, or home decor.

What shapes can be created in micrography prints?

Almost any shape or silhouette can be designed, including:

• Names or word art

Each piece is individually designed and personalised. We will try create what you want - we will give everything a go!

Returns & Refunds

Can personalised items be returned?

Because our products are custom made and personalised, returns are generally not accepted unless:

• The item arrives damaged

• There is a manufacturing defect

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we will resolve it.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged:

1. Take a photo of the item and packaging

2. Contact us as soon as possible

3. We will arrange a replacement or resolution
